MS Excel is the most widely used data analysis tool in the world and has evolved from being a spreadsheet tool to an advanced data analytics tool. In this session, we will look at how Excel can be used for data analytics, including Statistics, Regression, Forecasting, Monte Carlo simulation. We will briefly revisit the theory to get an intuitive understanding of these topics and then learn how to apply these techniques to solve business challenges.

GUEST SPEAKER
Sandeep is a Simulation & Data Analytics engineer. His background was in research in Mechanical engineering and product development and always used Statistics to analyze data. For the last four years, he has been using Data Analytics & Machine Learning to improve manufacturing operations. He has an MS in Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Engineering Management with a focus on business analytics, and is a certified Azure Data Scientist.
