Why actually would you give your own product key, or license to someone else; such as your client. It is not a good approach for getting clients.


Anyhow, you can try to merge the software into your own application; such as by using API or some other stuff. This way, the user would have to use the product-key for your own application and not for the actual software that you've yourself bought or are the owner of for. Not only the user would have to purchase your software; a good financial support for your company, but at the very same time he won't be able to apply the product key to the actual software; for whom you bought the product key.

1. Product key. Who will use it, who bought it?
2. Which software you're trying to use.
3. What type of client? One working in your own office, or one who buys from you.

Answers to questions like this would help us out in many things and you would get a better answer.
