Add different values to one textbox

I'm trying to add multiple values and total them in one textbox from different button clicks. For example I have textBox1 and 5 labels + 5 buttons. I want to be able to click button one and it adds the value from label1 to textBox1 then if I click button2 it will add the value from label2 to textBox1.

I can get it to work once but when I try to add more totals to textbox1 from different buttons it clears the total? what the best way of doing this function?

The code to do that would be something like this:

// button1 click

decimal d;

if (!decimal.TryParse (textBox1.Text, out d))
{
MessageBox.Show("The number in textbox1 is invalid. Please amend.");
textBox1.Focus();
return;
}

d += decimal.Parse(label1.Text);
textBox1.Text = d.ToString();

// button2 click

decimal d;

if (!decimal.TryParse (textBox1.Text, out d))
{
MessageBox.Show("The number in textbox1 is invalid. Please amend.");
textBox1.Focus();
return;
}

d += decimal.Parse(label2.Text);
textBox1.Text = d.ToString();

and so on changing just the highlighted line for the other 3 buttons

Incidentally, Mike, it's also possible to do all this using a single button_Click handler rather than 5 different ones:

Button b = (Button)sender;
string number = b.Name.Substring(6);

decimal d;

if (!decimal.TryParse (textBox1.Text, out d))
{
MessageBox.Show("The number in textbox1 is invalid. Please amend.");
textBox1.Focus();
return;
}

Label lbl = (Label)this.Controls["label" + number]; // if labels are all on form
d += decimal.Parse(lbl.Text);
textBox1.Text = d.ToString()

Thank you Vulpes, I got it working using the below in each button click but just changing the labels:

double result = Double.Parse(textBox1.Text) + Double.Parse(label1.Text);
textBox1.Text = result.ToString("F2");

But your answer looks much better as my above version doesn't allow for input errors.
