Career Advice for switching and how to prepare for it?

Hi everybody, 

I am having overall 2.6 yrs of experience in .Net.I am working for a MNC, but want to switch ASAP. I have worked on WPF and WCF for arnd 8 months. Then worked on ASP.Net for around 11 months and recently i was working on a ASP MVC, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Jquery project.C# being the programming language and Database language SQL throughout.

As you can see above i have worked on many technologies, but not on a single in depth. Can you please guide me on:
1. Which technologies should i focus on while preparing for tech interviews?
2. How should i prepare for my tech interviews ?
3.Is it necessary to have hands on skills for whichever technology i prepare?
4. Kindly provide me some reference articles, Q n A for the same.
