RadioButton:- A group of mutually exclusive button. which allow the user to selct only one option from many Checkbutton:- it allows the user to select multiple no of options from many and it is GUI component which can be in one of state selected or diselected

YOu may check more than check boxes like hobbies. but in ration button only one is selected like gender

I'm note sure what you mean by the question. Radio buttons are round by default and selection is indicated by a filling the circle; checkboxes are square and are marked with an indication that they have been checked. In use, a radio button is typically used to allow mutually exclusive selections from a group of options; check boxes are typically used to allow selection or deselection of an option; with groups of check boxes, you can have more than one item in group selected. For example, if I wanted to get a person's age range using ranges like 0 to 9, 10 to 19, 20 to 29 etc, any one person can only belong to one of these options (the options are mutually exclusive, you cannot be a member to two age ranges). For that input I would use an a set of radio buttons with one button per age range. If I were going to do something like collect the optional equipment someone wanted to add to computer system, I would use check boxes because the user may want to select any combination of options. For example, if the options were something like "Add a Media Card", "Add a Second 250 Gig hard drive", "Upgrade RAM to 2GB", and "Add a TV Tuner", the user might want to select two or three of the options (they are not mutually exclusive). Naturally, you can force a radio button to act like a check box and you can force a check box to work like a radio button, however, people expect a radio button to behave as a device for making selections in mutually exclusive lists of options and people expect options represented by check boxes to allow them to make multiple selections. Existing UI standards certainly adhere to this approach.
