In simple words, Professional edition is the edition of IDE for minimal teams (5-25 developers) and small projects. Enterprise is for bigger organizations, with more annual income and profits. However, Community edition is the free version of Professional, provided under a few conditions, you are either using the IDE for open source projects, academic uses or are a group of team with 5 or less developers. Visual Studio Community edition has the license terms, that you can read here,https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/community. If you want to use Visual Studio edition for your own use then Community edition is the best fit, there is no benefit of using Enterprise edition over Community -- remember, Community edition is the Professional edition for personal uses.
