if you want to display whole table in gridview follow this simple steps.... 1. you should create connection with database and fetch all data with the use of DataAdapter and store it into DataSet like SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection("ConnectionStringSettings name");//pass ur Connection String name here SqlDataAdapter da = new SqlDataAdapter("Selecrt Query", con); DataSet ds = new DataSet(); da.Fill(ds,"tablename"); 2.Now Bind DataSet With GridView Like GridView1.DataSource = ds.Tables[0]; GridView1.DataBind(); Note: Dont Forget to add Namespace using System.Data; and using System.Data.SqlClient; if u get any problem then let me know.
