Hi,
how much time (in general) it takes to learn docker and micro services. I have 10 years experience in ASP.NET but i am not aware of Docker,Kubernettes and Microservices.
Are they in demand or used in now a days all projects ?
Please suggest your valuable opinions.

yes, future is Microsservices , Microservice means each module will have separate BL ,DAL and in some cases DB too, and thus any new upgradation to software will be much faster and will not affect the existing one.
There will be no foreign keys in most cases between tables as each will be separately deployed and will be loosely coupled with other module and module's DB.
Industry is moving towards microservices, however , you can't go for Microservices for existing project suddenly & in one go.
for new projects you can think of Microservice architecture.
Docker and Kubernetes will take less time to learn.
Udemy has free cources for these , please search.

Based on which platform you are interested like Azure, AWS or GCP you can learn these concepts. These are the concepts that are required to take your apps to next level of cloud maturity after hosting in cloud. You can google for these concepts based on platform and learn it.
