Hi, Thanks For Reply here, sam, filter for datagrid is created using header styles in silverlight , but Creating filter on DataGrid of silverlight is not that much easy, Becoz we need lots of work in HeaderStyle . The first question is how to apply a filter to a DataGrid control. I am not familiar with Silverlight to know how to do that but I assume it is as easy as for Windows Forms in which we simply set a filter to the Filter property of the BindingSource. After that it is simply a matter of how to build a filter from the data in the UI. It is probably a lot of work in the sense of being time-consuming but it might not be much of a technical challenge. The thing that could make it a technical challenge is if you were to support combining conditions with ands and ors; ya know what I mean?

You may be better off using a third-party Grid such as DevExpress. It actually provides the filter option on columns.
