how to calculate working hours of employee in asp.net

i have below table in and i wan to calculate employee daily working hours

i want to calculate employees in time and out time check box shows login status that when employee login and how many time he logedout
so please help me i m confuse how to calculate time. i m able to sum the in time and out time buts not giving me correct result

AttendaneId	EmpID	Cdate	Time
11	D1	7/29/2017	09:07:00
12	D1	7/29/2017	13:00:00
13	D1	7/29/2017	14:05:00
14	D1	7/29/2017	17:41:00

Hi,

I think you can use the linq query.

Try this :
var inTime = "10:00";
        var outTime = DateTime.Now.TimeOfDay;
        var totalHours = Convert.ToDateTime(inTime).TimeOfDay.Subtract(outTime);
        Console.WriteLine(totalHours); //Total Hours

Hey

Why using sum?

Here's the logic
1. Get the minimum time as IN TIME and maximum time as OUT TIME
2. If its done then subtract that to get the hours
var inTime = Convert.ToDateTime("InTime");
var outTime = Convert.ToDateTime("OutTime");

var totalHrs = (outTime-InTime).TotalHours;
