How to connect asp.net with mysql

First you need to download MySql Connector and Drivers..
After successfull Installation u can write the following code to connect with mysql.


Add the following reference:

using MySql.Data.MySqlClient

try

public void OpenConnection()
{
string query = ;
MySqlConnection con = new MySqlConnection();
con.ConnectionString = "connectionstring";
con.Open();
}
}

This way you can connect to Mysql database..
