How to copy contents from an excel to a word in a table.

Hi guys.

i am using using interop.word and interop.excel to create a index table in word.

I have the contents in excel file.

how do i copy the entire contents from excel file to word in a table format so that it looks like an index page in word document.

Would like to understand whether this is one time job to create the index table in word with the content from excel file? Or it will be done for set of documents in future?
