hi Himanshu, One way is to provide user a button delete row and hide the row instead of deleting from the datagridview, and at the time of saving you can delete the hidden rows from database (in case those rows were already there in the database they will have primary key value>0) and not save freshly added rows which were later deleted. Or you can bind datagridview with DataTable and allow user to directly delete row by pressing deleting button on selected row, then you'll have to manage version (states) of rows in DataTable; at the time of saving you can fire delete query for rows with rowstate=deleted.

hi, You should have your tables primary key as DataKeyName and you can set it as DeleteParameter (e.g. asp:Parameter Name= "OrderID" Type= "Int32" /> and then use it in your delete command like this. DeleteCommand= "DELETE FROM [Index] WHERE [ OrderID ] = @ OrderID "
