Hi Everyone,
I am intending to establish my career under Data analytics and would like to take the counsel of senior members within the community.
As I have studied, Data Analytics is among the rapidly developing sectors, yet I am puzzled by the precise plan and tools that I need to concentrate on.
🔹 My Questions:
What are the basic skills necessary to be turned into a job-ready Data Analyst?
Are Excel and SQL and Power BI sufficient to get entry-level work?
What is the significance of Python to data analytics?
Which kind of projects can I do on my portfolio?
So what are the factors that are tested during interview which are not technical?
🎯 My Understanding So Far
In my opinion a good base ought to consist of:
Cleaning and Preprocessing of Data.
SQL for Database Querying
Excel for Business Analysis
Tableau / Data Visualization Power BI.
Basic Statistics
Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
However, I would like to get the industry experts to know:
👉 What are the real daily skills that are applied in real jobs?
🤾 What are the common errors that newcomers make?
👉 Any suggested learning process/certifications?
Anticipating your proposals and good advice.
Thanks in advance! 🙏
