How to explain Project in efficient way

You can answer it by yourself, software is nothing but a set of programs (or a set of instructions), software is build to reduce human efforts (it means those things which can be done manually can be crafted into a software). So, when explaining or understanding anything, don't think programmatically, note it down module wise (section wise). Lets think, we have to build an accounting software, the module would be 1. Sale 2. Purchase 3. Inventory 4. Customer 5. Vendors etc, now go through each of the module and then ask for fields required and do brain storming. If all done then go ahead and build an architecture and start your coding.
