Am not sure what you want, after data binding only you need to change the color. That's what i posted above.

I think that instead of: int i = datagridview1.Rows.Count; It probably would work to use: int i = datagridview1.NewRowIndex;

try, after binding the datagridview.. datagridview1.DataSource = ds int i = datagridview1.Rows.Count or ds.Tables[0].Rows.Count; datagridview1.Rows[i].DefaultCellStyle.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Green; or, datagridview1.Rows[i].IsSelected = true;

Yeah sir I want to change the color of only single row.. now thing is that I am retrieving data of table from database but at last row I want to retrieve data from another table at same time and so for I want to highlight that row.... please help me..

Do you want to change only row colour or for all ? Please explain it in detail. GridviewTemplate will supprt rowcolor and alternativerow color. Try out ,our recommended articles section on the right side.
