How to Print Report in DotMatrix Printer?

If you are targeting dot matrix printer, you are better off sticking to a text file, which is character based than to the SSRS / Crystal reports, etc. as they are pixel (graphic) based.

 

I used to print the text file on a plain sheet of paper and the hold that on top of the pre-printed invoice and identify how alignment is to be done.
