how to rotate the marker with direction postion

I want to rotate the marker-icon(eg:car/icon.png) head position

with direction(like: east ,west,south,north,southeast,northwest,etc,.- I get this type from DB)

Give some idea .

replace the image based on the your condition like: east , west, south, north, southeast, northwest, or use animation in css
