How to stop page backing???

Question

I am using asp.net 2.0 with c#. I have two pages I want if user visit the 2nd page.It should not
allow the user to come back in first page while clicking on back button in browser. Please send me code.

Well the only way you can do it by overriding the page's OnPreRender method.

Well khan I told you, I don’t have any problem to use client side scripting, but I should use some method or event to perform it and everything should be written in pagebehind. Thanks for your explanation but it will not work in my case. Moreover I told you I want serverside coding. So no point on discussing about only client side execution.

First of all C# is not a web technology, for that u will have to go to the ServerSide(ASP.NET) Feature or else ClientSide(JavaScript). its not Possible with the Core C# funda, Try to use Asp.Net Feature, or else u can do this by the Javascript, this it the Best way to do. It wont be Bother on the Server, it will execute at the Client side only.

It's not like that. My requirement is simple. I want to use c# code to accomplish this tusk but I don’t want to use smart navigation property. I don’t have any problem to use JavaScript code but I should use c# coding.

No khan, There is no login or logout concept in my form. It's simple as soon as I go to 2nd page from 1st page it should not allow user to go back to 1st page while clicking on browser back button.

If its that problem then add these two line in your Page Load Response.Cache.SetExpires(Now) Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache) That will work, Thanks

Hey Milton tell me one thing like,if some one Logged out from there Home page so its going to the Login page, but while clicking on the Back button still its going to the Home Page, Is your Problem Like that. tell me????????????????
