how to validate From Date and To Date

if user enter TO DATE is less than FROM DATE then it will dislpay message for the date is less then From Date...

using c#

i implement it like below...

DateTime startDate = DateTime.ParseExact(txtstartdate.Text.Trim(),"dd/MM/yyyy",null);
DateTime endDate = DateTime.ParseExact(txtenddate.Text.Trim(),"dd/MM/yyyy",null);
if (startDate > endDate)
{
lblmessage.Visible = true;
lblmessage.Text = "Start date should not be greater than end date";
}
else
{
//code for result.....
}

Try this

DateTime fromDate = Convert.ToDateTime("2022-08-28");
var todDate = DateTime.Today;
int result = DateTime.Compare(fromDate, todDate);
Console.WriteLine(result);
//The 'result' would indicate if fromDate is less than todDate (less than 0), same as (0) or greater than (greater than 0).
