can anyone tell me what are the latest technologies trend i should use , for asp.net web development like MVC with what database approach can anyone suggest me how to get started.

You also use only MVC but MVC still postback page so i recommand webapi and angular for http services.

1)
Front end Mvc,Angular
Middle end webapi,
Back end EntityFramwork,Sql Server,

Thats suits me but i still not able to understand what is the use of web api , can you help me out , dear i knows windows form with sql server as database just , but know i learn a bit about mvc as well , so i have no idea about what is the use of angular what is the use of web api , angular makes sense but what is the role of web api how can i learn it by project .

i suggest you two types of your software architecture like

1)
Front end Mvc,Angular
Middle end webapi,
Back end EntityFramwork,Sql Server,

2)
Front end Angular/React
Middle end Nodejs,
Back end Sql Server/Mongodb,
