implementing progress bar

hi,

am working on rdlc reports (C# - VS 2005). the problem i am facing is while the adapter is fililling its take time to retrieve all records and then showing on report. i want to implement a progress bar while retrieving records so that the user can sit calm.

please help me ragarding this..
