You can modify the Web Server IIS to allow more. usually 4mb is on by default, but you can modify it. It is in Machine.Config, in the c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\blahbh.. Why are you checking the extensions anyway? You are going to run into server timeouts w/ upload a huge amount of files, and large ones. So you will need to be careful. Morgan

http supports posting for uploading files, but for big files and for blind copying, it's not the best method. It's perfect for smaller files and text-based files, but for more flexibility, you really want a socket/stream based approach. FTP remains the tool of choice for many, or in the cases where ftp may not be viable (overly anal firewall and sysadmin restrictions) you can find other approaches or fall back to http posting. There are also secure FTP implementations out there and you can always "roll your own".
