MVC Excel Export - Object reference not set to an instance

Hi,

 

Null reference exception occurs if you try to use a value which is NULL. So, please check if your model object is getting all the valid data from databse or not.

It's difficult to find just by looking at your code.

Try putting some breakpoints and trace the code to find the exact  location from where this execption is generated.

Hi Mike,

 

At line 63 your are using i.ToString()  inside foreach loop 

Please check if your variable i holds valid data or not. if the value of i is null then null.Tostring() will be an error.
