Need to store multiple columns of data in single rows of a text file

Question

OK - sorry I'm so new at this.
I have a populated listview (details) with multiple columns of data on each row.  For each selected row, I want to write out single text file records where each text file record contains the data from a given selected row (multiple columns) from the listview.
Thanks to any and all for helping a transplanting mainframer.
