Notification after client clicked on a link to download document.

Question

Hi There,

I have created a form with list of articles to download for clients in c#. Before coming to this page use has to verify his email address. If the email address is already in my database only then he will be able to acess this page otherwise it will redirect to registration page . Till now everything is fine. But now what i want to do, if the user came to this page to downloading the articles then i should know which document he clicked so after clicking a link i should receive a notification that XXX mail address click on yyy document at aaa time.

Hope i am clear to explain my self. could anyone help me how can i achieve that ?
