If your main goal is to display a multi-page PDF file page by page similar to Adobe reader in web application, you can achieve this using LEADTOOLS Document viewer features. See this link:
http://demo.leadtools.com/JavaScript/DocumentViewer/index.html
Also, LEADTOOLS has features for manipulating and splitting PDF pages using PDFFile class.
