Problem with SelectedValueChanged event of ComboBox

Hi everybody, Can anyone please explain about the SelectedValueChanged event of ComboBox Actually, my problem is that if I change the SelectedValue of a ComboBox programmatically, the SelectedValueChanged event is not getting raised Thanking you Saduneni Shashanka
