Vulpes. I dont know why this answer of yours was accepted. WHen it surely is not the answer tot he payer ""Remove last element in array". As you may know your later submissin was correct(It helped me very much). Can you do something to remove this as the Marked Answer ////

Yeah, given how easy to it is to find code for basic algorithms on the internet nowadays, I think Sam's right that any tutor worth his salt will ask the student to explain how the solution works, particularly if it looks like it may not be his/her work. Also, it's just occurred to me that the LINQ code provided by Gomathi and I only works because the last element in the sequence is the same as the number of elements in the array, namely 3! You can make it work for any array by passing a second argument to the lambda expression in the Where method which represents the index of the element in the input array, viz: using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; class Test { static void Main() { int[] array = {4, 5, 6}; foreach (int i in array) Console.WriteLine(i); Console.WriteLine("

Also note that if your instructor might ask you for an explanation of how the program works, then be prepared to explain it. I have never taken a college course about programming but I have heard that some instructors ask for an explanation of code that their students submit as answers.

If you don't understand LINQ then there is a more direct way of doing it. Instead of: array = array.Where(o => o != array.Length).ToArray(); You can use: Array.Resize (ref array, array.Length - 1);
