running visual studio in the Apache server to create web apps

can someone please help me with this.... i've ave tried to run visual studio .net with iis 5, but this stupid server doen't work in my pc. im running xp pro... i installed Apache and it seems to run fine...now i need to know what to do to be able to develop web application using Apache does anyone know... thanks
