Scheduling for Timetable

Question

Hi,

I need an Algorithm to be used in scheduling. For example we have a some section that has a start time and end time, and a group of students.  We need to make schedules for them so that as much as possible no clashes occurs.

Do you have an Idea of the best algorithm to be used.
