currently i have joined as a fresher in shaepoint domain for next few years wat will be its position in the market and how it will help me in my career and mostly how much salary i can expect after getting 1yr of experience?

You are Welcome. A developer does not need to do all administrator jobs. But we need to know the SharePoint core like list/library/views/grouping/filtering + ootb web parts/workflows & so.. These will be asked in the interview.

thanx paul.......for ur reply. currently i am working as a sharepoint developer. i want to know is it necessary to know sharepoint administrator for a developer? can u please briefly explain for a 1ys exp in sharepointdevelopement in what concept should i know?

SharePoint future seems to be very good & trend is catching with SharePoint 2013. As you have not mentioned you are Developer/Administrator, I assume you are working as a Developer. The salary over India for 1 year experience would be: Bangalore 30k+ per month Tier 2 cities 20k+ per month For gaining the salary & much above, one might need to be strong in SharePoint core concepts, Custom development using Farm Solutions/Apps, Troubleshooting skills, plus a Certification would be great!
