SqlHelper Class

Question

I have a class called SqlHelper. It's found in msdn library. I used it in ASP.NET application and it was wonderful. But when I tried 2 use it in windows application, it didn't work correctly. Has anyone faced this problem???

my friend i know this class, its an old version of the Application Data Block Version 1 which is part of todays Enterprise Library this class is no longer supported, trust me and check the subsonic Project its faster in performance, and very easy to use

well my friend, SQLHelper is part of the Microsoft Data Application Block, it is no longer in use or supported. i can although recommend you to use http://www.subsonicproject.com/ its an amazing CRUD with very high performance to DB Access. or you can just use the Microsoft Enterprise Library Data Access Block

This must be some class library or third party code you have downloaded or using from somewhere. There is no SqlHelper class in .NET Framework class library. To use the same class, you need to copy class file (.cs) from your existing project to new project (Windows forms). Make sure you copy all dependency files and include namespaces etc. Good luck!
