Unable to add custom scrips in SharePoint Online Communication site

Hello All,

I am using SharePoint Online Communication site, i need to add custom scripts ie via content editor or script editor webpart, but i dont have media and content editor webparts available. This are the workarounds tried so far:

I enabled the property setting 'Allow custon scripts' in Site Collection Level.
I am unable to enable the Site Collection feature 'SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure' . It opens an error "Sorry, something went wrong. An unexpected error has occurred."
So i was unable to activate the same feature in 'Site Features' as well.
So for testing purpose i created the 'Team Site' with those features enabled. Still i cannot found content editor webpart.

I have been struggling on this for 2 days. please help me on this.

Hi
In Communication site, there is no default script editor. You can do these follwing:
Build SPFx Webpart: You can put you content in a spfx and deploy it in a page.
Build SPFx Extension: You can build you worn custome spfx extension could effect on all the page if you want.
Deploy 3rd Party Script Editor Solution: In Git hub you will be able to get custome buld spfx solution for script editor. By Depoying this you would be able to add script editor in pages. IF you realy need a ascript editor, you can do this one.

In Sharepoint online Communication site, doesn't have any script and content editor Web part. You have to do it using SPFX.

The modern SharePoint sites does not provide script editor or content editor web part.
You need to add custom script editor web part.

Also when you create new site collection in modern view, it will not allow you upload files or creating folders in style library. You need to enable custom scripting at site collection level using below powershell command:

By default, SharePoint Online does not support custom code via either content or script editor web part. you need to use "PnP JS' framework in the SPFX web part and deploy it on Sharepoint online.
