Hii, Can anyone tell me that, What is the HTML5 Web Storage and how it differs from Cookies?

In Cookies, the storage limit is far larger at least 5MB, and information is never transferred to the server. Whereas in Web storage is per origin:per domain and protocol. All pages, from one origin, can store and access the same data.

Just store the application data locally in the browser. Before announcing Web Storage, we are storing data in cookies. now we are separate and store differently.
