I created a question that had the Linux file path consisting of a slash followed by var followed by a slash followed by three occurances of the letter w followed by a slash followed by html.
I could not post it because it said I do not have enough reputation to post hyperlinks. I removed the Linux file path as above and it posted. I assume that most members do not have enough reputation to post hyperlinks but that file path is not a hyperlink.

I will try using the raw path again.
/var/www/html
Okay now it works. Perhaps the website application was modified to allow it.

I will assume that will work. Let me try it.
`/var/www/html` works. I tried using a code block and that did not work. Except I am not sure what you mean by backticks; as you can see, it does not get fromatted like it does for you.

Hi Sam,
you can try formatting the file path differently or add some text to clarify that it is not a hyperlink. For example, you could use backticks to format the file path as code:
you could use backticks to format the file path as code: /var/www/html
Or you can add a note like "This is not a hyperlink: /var/www/html."
