I have a mac book pro with MAC OSX 10.8.2 running, having Ms outlook 2011 as mail client.
Due to some technical glitches Ms office seems to crash one time or the other. Before it gets worse i want to switch to apple mail which seems to be rumming completely file.
I tried moving my mails from outlook 2011 to apple mail but the mail import function in apple mail does not import properly all the mails, some imported contain incomplete data and some have gardage material in them.
Please suggest some smart solution to transfer all my mails from outlook 2011 to apple mail asap.
Eagerly waiting for solutions to this problem.
Thank you.

Any IMAP email accounts should be easy as you will just need to add the email account to Apple Mail as any messages and folders should be on the email server.
For POP, then you will need to do some sort of export/import. You could try "drag and drop" from Outlook to Mail. I believe this will work, but I don't fully recall.
Last but not the least, you mail migration can be made very easy using application software, have a look at this one:- Olm to Mbox
I hope this helps you
