Can I pay for a non-advertising subscription?

Is possible for me to keep advertisments from being displayed? I only ask because the switching of advertisements is very distracting since it's like a flash when it appears by removing the advertisement and then displaying a new one with a brief display of a blank spot. I'd be happy to pay for a no-advert ubscription if it'll keep this from happening.
