controling a control from different form

hello everybody, I will be gratefull if someone be able to help me with my problem. the problem is that i have two different forms. on the first one i have a button and on the second one i have nothing. how do i tell the button on the first one to become enabled=true when i close the second one? (as you may understand i still stack with vb 6 head)

It depends on how do you open your second form: If you are opening it from first form: add to function, which opens second form - button1.enabled = false; second_form.Owner = this; make button1 public in second form add Closing event, and in this event write something like - ((first_form_class)this.Owner).button1.Enabled = true;
