Creating a licensing for .Net windows application

Hi Sreenivasa, I have steps to deploy application sending you go through if not understand ask me. and license will be created in .rtf format go to desktop right click select new then select Rich Text Format write then give save license.rtf

 

Steps to deploy winforms / wpf .Net window application

 

1)required built application

2)add class library then add installer class if you want to

Customize installation and then add your custom code in

Installer class.

3)right click on project solution add setup and deployment then select added setup file right click on select add select project output for installer library and your project and then select properties as adding icon, author as company name,description, detect newer installed version as true, manufacturer as company name, url,product name, remove previous versions as true,'target platform ,titile, version etc.

4)right click on setup file project select view select file system select application create shortcut on your application then copy and paste at user's desktop and user's programs menu then add icon to it then delete it from application folder and if required you can change other properties and if required to add any file then create folder under application folder and add

5)select custom actions right click on install then add installer library then add /version=[productcode] at custom action data then if required change other property and do the same for commit, rollback and uninstall if required.

6)select user interface here you can customize at install root node by adding other dialog like user registration, license terms and condition form, product key form etc.

7)create license file as license.Rtf if use wordpad then file extension will be .Rtf

so inside you need to add TERMS AND CONDITIONS of application as per company policy.

8)in product key form you need to change template as per your requirement for product

key validation and set SHOW SERIAL NUMBER AS TRUE AND SET ICON.
