How long does it take for an article to be approved?

Hi,

When I published an article for the first time it took 1-2 days, the second time took 1 week. By this time it has been 2 weeks and my article has not been approved.

I am participating in an initiative where every day of the month a different author publishes content, and I am embarrassed with the organizers because my content has not been published yet.

It's no complaint, I'm just trying to find the average time they take to review it, since it's hard to plan my content if it's not reviewed before the scheduled publication date.

It is not uncommon for the review process to take longer than expected, especially if the editors are particularly busy or if there are a large number of submissions to review.

One thing you can try to help expedite the review process is to make sure that your article meets the guidelines for submission and is well-written and well-organized. This can help ensure that your article is ready for publication and does not require extensive editing.

Dear authors, I know you are frustrated in the delay. I would too ..Let me give you little background. We're now becoming one of the top Dev community and we're working of some internal guidelines but our focus is also now when someone is reading an article, they get most value out of it and follow instructions. We are also working on Google's recommended guidelines to format, improve intro, headings, images, code etc. As Deepak said, if you follow the guidelines, it will move things faster. WHY? It will help users to like your content and get more value, plus it will increase repuation of the website. I hope you understand.

Benefit: We want your/our article to be at the top on Google searches. It will bring more readers to your article/blog and hence more traffic to the community. If quality is good, reader will read the entire content and will be satisfied.

We will also see if we can quickly approve articles and do the quality check later. PLEASE review guidelines and the latest article published by me and Chris. Deepak can provide references.
