How to hide the controls in datepicker

Hi,
I am using jquery datepicker in a textbox for mvc view.When selecting the date I am able to select the date into textbox but the behind controls are visible.
could you please help me how to overcome this issue?

Hi Mahesh,

I think this is an UI related issues you can increase the Z-Index of the calendar control and please inspect the UI element properly . It is getting CSS side effect.

thanks for your answer.my requirement is when selecting the date picker I have to disable the controls behind the datepicker.It is showing the transparency

Hi Mahesh,

You can do this in two way,

You can applu the html property inside the @HTML.EditorFor or @HTML.TextBoxFor

or

You can apply this attribute using Jquery

Ex :
@Html.EditorFor(model=>model.DateTimePciket,new{@readonly="readonly",@disabled="disabled"})
or
@Html.TextBoxFor(model=>model.DateTimePciket,new{@readonly="readonly",@disabled=@disabled}
or
$('#DateTimePicker").attr("disabled",true);
or
$('#DateTimePicker").attr("disabled","disabled");
or
$('#DateTimePicker").attr("readonly",true);
or
$('#DateTimePicker").attr("readonly","readonly");
