how to integrate a third party s/w in a c# application

Hi frnz, I would like to know how i can integrate a third party s/w in c#. The s/w has an API and i need to use the functions of the API. Plz do help me because i couldnt get any information any where

It's best to look for .NET components from the third party. If not, then COM. If not, then you can PInvoke MOST times. 90% of all questions in C# are how to make it interact with unmanaged code because it doesn't do everything it needs to yet. There's LOTS of info on it out there.

Hi, If your 3rd party s/w comes as COM, then its damn simple. All you need to do is just add references to your DLLs. Else, you might look for PInvoke method. HTH, irfan
