How to Restore SQL Servere 2017 BackUp File SQL Server 2012

I am trying to restore .bak file of sql server 2017 to 2012 can you suggest my any tools or methord so that i can restore that.. i have also tried using script but it gets failed.

Hello Bhavesh,

Its not possible to directly restore the database version from a newer version to a lower version.
You can do this using some third partly tools.
or
You can generate the scripts of newer version from SSMS and try to run to lower version

Directly it is not possible to restore in lower versions but there are few workarounds which you can try. Please check:
