how to save date as this format dd/MM/yyyyy using c#

hello guys

I have a certain problem in this case when i save date like 04/05/2019 is saved but when i select big date like 30/04/2019 does not save , PLS see the photos

Hey

If you are using string in DateTime field then you are losing many properties of datetime, try pass the date value like

cmd.Parameters.Add("@ReceivedDate", SqlDbType.Date).Value = DateTime.Now

or use the global format yyyy/MM/dd
cmd.Parameters.Add("@ReceivedDate", SqlDbType.Date).Value = Convert.ToDateTime(datetimepicker1.Text.Trim()).ToString("yyyy/MM/dd");
