Hi frnds

i craeted 2 calender in my page. i want to display data in gridview using find these 2 dates

like start date and end date

Hi Anjali,

if you would like using LINQ TO SQL your Query is

from s in tableName
where (s.Date >= startDataVariable && s.Date <= endDateVariable)

Note:
startDataVariable and endDateVariable represent dates which will be selected from your view.

SQL Query :

Select ColumnsName from TableName Where Date Between startDataVariable AND endDateVariable

Pass the date from c# code with string format "dd/mm/yyyy"

string fdate = "02/01/2018"
string tdate = "05/01/2018"

Pass these in parameter

In sql procedure
Create Procedure SearchData
(
@StartDate varchar(12),
@EndDate varchar(12)
)
AS
BEGIN
     SELECT *FROM tblName WHERE  (fromdate >=convert(datetime, @StartDate, 103) AND todate<= convert(datetime, @EndDate, 103))
END

If the databse datetime field is in text then you shoud change the field value accourdig the format

Hi Anjali,
Use the below procedure it is running fine .You can pass only two field startdate and enddate from your calender control.
Create Procedure SearchData
(
@StartDate DateTime,
@EndDate DateTime
)
AS
BEGIN
     SELECT *FROM tblName WHERE  (fromdate >=@StartDate AND todate<=@EndDate)
END

i want to serach data select date from to calender.not specific date.

i have a table where coumn like id name ,fromdate,todate,systemdate(it will generate from to system)

si if i search data from to selected date like from date and to date ho to do that

Hi Nitin Sir, I have same query as mentioned above. I am using MS Access 2007 Database with c#. I have bounded dataGrid with my database manually not programmatically. I want to search data in dataGrid between two dates by typing in textBox like from date 01/10/2017 to date 01/01/2018. How to do this?

You can use between keyword as in:

select *
from yourtable
where datacolumn between '2017-12-01' and '2017-12-31'

As I keep on mentioning, please be more specific in your questions, give as much information as you can. How are we suppose understand where exactly you are stuck?

Share some code, if you have already written. Mention which db you are using.
