If .. Else on Button Click !!

Hi There,

I have attached code for button click and now need to put the conditon where on if user does not select any filter then should give entire record what i have for select statement.

i.e. i am not selecting the listbox values and directly clicking on button then must to give all records of query vise versa works for listbox filter even.

Pls help here !!

Comment these lines

Hi,

Actually you can generate dynamic query based on the values of listbox. On looking on your code, I can see you have tried the same. But commented out. So what is the issue you faced while making query based on If conditions?

Hi Tapan, Thanks for the input but I have couple of list boxes with OR condition and looking for the code which can else the not selected then run the complete sql script. in case If you get time pls have a look at the code.

Well, I haven't looked at your code yet but you can start with something like this, if it helps at all.
if (listBox1.SelectedItems.Count>0)
{
    //logic to perform in case of filters are selected
    Debug.WriteLine("selected");
}
else
{
    //else otherwise
    Debug.WriteLine("not selected");
}
