If your widget calls a server method then I assume you are using AJAX for that? If that's the case then that's a different thing since AJAX is asynchronous - which means that when you submit all your widget will execute the server method call without waiting for each calls to finish the process. Keep in mind that javascript is always synchronous and single-threaded meaning if you're executing a Javascript block of code on a page then no other Javascript on that page will currently be executed. If you want to execute multiple process at the same time then AJAX comes into play. I hope it clears things out.

JavaScript is not multi-threaded. It is event driven and events will fire sequentially. There is a new thing in HTML5 called Worker. It allows you to do some job in background. But it's currently is not supported by all browsers.

Ok i will consider it's event driven programming, still i have doubt, same question is asked in one of my interview question .ok consider my page contains four widgets and all widget contains server call method, so in this case if I click/or submit one widget what will be the behavior of other three widget or page until the my first call request\response is in progress/period.
