Is your code a resource pig?

I often see at the very top of this site something asking "Is your code a resource pig?"?

I wonder how effective that is. I wonder if people don't consider their software (software they wrote) to be a pig. I wonder if that would be more effective if it said something else that was not so personally negative. It does not matter to me except I wanted to comment on that.
