making trial versions/avoiding copy of your exe

Question

We want to market our product (VB.net installable) in two ways. 1)Make a trial version which is valid for three months 2)Take a motherboard and hard disk number add your own charectors and then activate on a particular PC within 3 months if the client pays. Is any code for this available readily or is it in deployment package somewhere? Thank you smc
